Getting to the Gresham Metropole Hotel Cork City from Cork Airport (N27)

Upon leaving Cork Airport you will approach a roundabout located on the main Cork to Kinsale road (N27).
Exit on the first exit of this roundabout; it will be signposted for Cork City.

Continue straight down the hill. You will pass through two sets of traffic lights. Proceed until you reach a large roundabout at the bottom of the hill. At this roundabout, take the third exit; it will be signposted for City Centre (N27).

Continue straight ahead through four sets of traffic lights.
You should now be in the second lane from the left and you should be preparing to turn left at the next junction (after the Elysian Building which is an 18 storey building on your right hand side).
After your left turn, continue on and turn right at the next junction, as to cross the river. Continue straight ahead until you come to a T-junction; you should turn left here.

You should see the Gresham Metropole Hotel located on the opposite bank of the river. At the next set of traffic lights, take a right turn to cross the river. Continue straight ahead through the next junction, and then turn right at the following set.
You are now on MacCurtain Street. The Gresham Metropole Hotel is situated 200m along this street on the right hand side.

Getting to the Gresham Metropole Hotel Cork City from Dublin (N8)

From the Dunkettle roundabout (located next to Jack Lynch Tunnel) follow the signs for Cork City Centre (do not go under the tunnel).
Continue straight ahead and you will come in the road along the River Lee. Do not cross the River Lee at any stage.

Keep continuing straight ahead, and you will approach the rear of the Gresham Metropole Hotel (you will see that it is a large yellow painted building from rear). Once you have passed the hotel, take a right turn at the next set of traffic lights.

This is followed immediately by another right turn at the next set of traffic lights.
You are now on MacCurtain Street. The Gresham Metropole Hotel is situated 200m along this street on the right hand side.

Getting to the Gresham Metropole Hotel Cork City from Killarney (N22)

Upon entering the dual carriageway from the Killarney direction (N22), remain on this road (do not turn off) until you reach the City Centre/Cork Airport slip road.

Take this slip road off the dual carriageway, and take the second exit at the roundabout. This will be signposted as City Centre (N27).
Continue straight on through four sets of traffic lights.
You should now be in the second lane from the left and you should be preparing to turn left at the next junction (after the Elysian Building which is an 18 storey building on your right hand side).

Getting to the Gresham Metropole Hotel Cork City from Limerick (N20)

Travelling from the Limerick direction (N20), continue straight ahead, following signs for City Centre. Continue until you have passed the Blackpool Shopping Centre.
At the next set of traffic lights, turn right. Continue straight ahead, passing Heineken Ireland.

As soon as you pass a Statoil Petrol Station take the next left turn.
Pass straight through the next two sets of traffic lights.
The Gresham Metropole Hotel is 200m following the second set of lights on the right hand side of MacCurtain Street. For your convenience there is a set-down area outside the hotel.
