Dining at the Gresham Metropole Hotel Cork City
The Riverview Restaurant
The Riverview Restaurant at the Gresham Metropole Hotel offers stunning unique views of Cork city and the famous River Lee. From the dining room you’ll be able to see Cork’s bridges, the city, and the most popular shopping areas in Cork.
Breakfast only is served in the Riverview Restaurant each morning from 7am until 10.30am (Monday to Friday) and 8am until 12pm Saturday and Sunday. A range of hot and cold dishes are on offer and only the finest of local produce is used.
Evening meals are served in the Gresham Metropole Hotel bar.

Met Cafe Bar
Located at the front of the hotel, the Met Cafe Bar is a traditional style bar split over two levels. Furnished with comfortable sofas and decorated with an interesting collection of original artwork, the Met Cafe Bar in the Gresham Metropole is a spacious and elegant area offering views along Cork’s well known MacCurtain Street.
A large television screen is situated upstairs – the ideal spot for you to sit back and relax and watch the Champions League or Heineken Cup matches.
If catching up on the latest sports isn’t of interest to you, the bar’s lower level has a more relaxed and subdued atmosphere, the perfect location for you to chat with friends or read your newspaper in the peaceful surroundings.
Here you can enjoy a leisurely morning coffee accompanied by a mouth watering selection of freshly baked scones and pastries; all served every day from 10am.
Lunches are served here midweek and provide an unrivalled selection of food in terms of both choice and value. Outside of these hours, a delicious range of savouries is also on offer including fine Irish farmhouse cheeses, homemade soup, freshly cut sandwiches and homemade pate.
A full food menu is served each evening until 10pm.
Leisure Facilities at the Gresham Metropole Hotel
The Leeside Leisure Centre at Cork’s Gresham Metropole Hotel is a White Flag Awarded Leisure Centre.

If you would prefer to relax and pamper yourself, there is a great selection of complementary therapies for you to choose from including deep tissue massage, reflexology and Indian Head Massage.
Please note that there is a €5 per person charge for each use of the leisure centre. For your convenience, towels and swimming hats are provided at the leisure centre.
